Shank also laments the inferiority of the National League. Wonder if he'll do a piece advocating seeding playoff teams in the NFL regardless of conference so two AFC teams play in the Superbowl.
"Correction Because of a reporting error, a Page One story on Oct. 22 incorrectly said the Red Sox had won seven consecutive games when faced with elimination in the baseball playoffs dating to 2004. The Red Sox lost an elimination game to the Chicago White Sox in 2005."
Thanks Anon 2:34..interesting clip. Shaughnessy is obviously happy about the pending departure of Schilling and you can only imagine the article Shank will write when Schilling leaves.
While I think Shaughnessy's vendetta against Schilling is itself pathetic, I dont think Schilling looks particularly good here. Everyone jumped on Alex Rodriguez for his announcement during Game 4 but Schilling starts writing farewell letters on the day of the parade and no one says a word? Seems as self-serving as ARod to me.
I apologize for lack of updates - I have the weekend update responsibility and I have not seen his byline - but I must have missed a few cause I just checked and there is a column. I will get busy! Mea culpa

OMG! When we go to high school graduations in 2026 a lot of kids will be named Jonathan, Hideki, Dustin, and Jacoby.
By all the damnations of Grady Little, Classic Shank is back!
Dan who?
Hey, Dan! The ball's missing!
Dan's stuck. He doesn't know which meaningless controversy to write about next: Missing ball or running up the score.
CHB's continued attacks on Schilling are borderline insane. I'd love someone to kick the Assclown in the throat.
This just in: The CHB Wrong Again!
