No “Cooler” (Adrian Gonzalez) in play. So Dodgers and Red Sox both have a chance.

Remember when Shank mentioned Adrian Gonzalez in the same sentence as Ted Williams? Good times!
And since when do both teams in a World Series 'both have a chance', as though a third team's going to come in and run roughshod over both of them like Godzilla? Is that just an incredibly stupid thing to say, or what?

I still can't figure out what Gonzalez did in 2011 that caused the Red Sox to go 7-21 in September. Seems that the problem was with using a broken down John Lackey (should have been undergoing TJ surgery and was still pitching), a should-have-retired-before-2011 Tim Wakefield and a never-was Cooney Weiland. Even a chicken-and-beer bloated Josh Beckett turned in some acceptable performances down the stretch.
