Dan submits another in a string of boring columns. And just to make sure you get his point, he includes another rip on Schilling the blogger ("Blogboy Blowhard Curt"). Just move on.
Agreed ... amazing that the Globe lets this guy get away with this. With Schilling taking (so far), the latest attacks from shank only serve to prove what a small minded pathetic has been he really is.
Shaughnessy managed a fine public service in Tuesday's column.
Tuesday he came up with a word that describes dbvader's postings.
Wasdinesque.
Firing away when you've got nothing.
As for Schilling, after telling the world that he was going straight to his fan base, by-passing the evil media, setting the record straight, ad infinitum, Ad nauseam he managed seven (7) postings in eight (8) weeks.
The Great Schill's lack of blogging shows, yet again, what a blowhard he is.
He got what he was looking for, his round of publicity and image-building, by boldly launching a blog so that he, the Great Schill, could go right to the public because The Media was distorting/misreporting and The Great Schill was going to set the record straight.
But then it came time to do the actual work. Nothing on his last outing. He promised Q and A three weeks ago.
Fortunately the fans still have all those reporters who "litter the landscape" to provide coverage and insight.
Schilling's Nixonian Rose Garden Strategy is laughable.

ReplyDeleteThat should say With Schilling taking the high road (so far)
ReplyDeleteShaughnessy's paranoia of the blogging world seems to know no bounds. The rip on Schilling just illuminates that all the more.
ReplyDeleteGreat site, and keep up the good work.
Shank is like the rest of the MSM - he hates the blogosphere because they are more accurate than him and his MSM pals.

Blowhard indeed.
Bruce, Shank never does a public service at any time. Ripping dbvader is out of line when it is your own defenses of Shank that fire away with blanks.
ReplyDeleteSo Schilling managed seven posts in an eight-week span - uh, is there a point to ripping him for that?
If you disregard his recycled columns, The CHB is no more prolific.

Genius, Schilling has been on the DL. If he was blogging regularly during that time, he would have been ripped mercilessly.
ReplyDeleteGuess you can't make all the Globe employees happy all of the time.
OB:
ReplyDelete"Nixonian Rose Garden Strategy?"
You've got to be kidding. A new low.
Your pal,
Tim
