Omission: Linebacker Dwayne Sabb was omitted from a list of University of New Hampshire players who have played in the Super Bowl in Dan Shaughnessy's column in the Feb. 3 Sports section.
And even then they still can't bring themselves to call it a correction. So I guess this means Terry Bradshaw must have actually been introduced at the Super Bowl.
I'm starting to think Shaughnessy has a clause in his contract specifying they can't run corrections on his work. Nothing else could explain why they go so far out of their way to avoid correcting him.
(And hey, if I'm wrong about that, what does it matter? If the Globe isn't interested in correcting their star columnists's mistakes and he can just make up whatever he wants about other people, why can't we make up stuff about him?)
