Back to His Old Shenanigans

Well, the old Danny Boy is back, with a smarmy May 27th column he cribs from Sports Illustrated's Peter King on Patriots' QB Tom Brady.

Every bit of decent information the Shank provides comes from King. Dan is relegated to making snotty comments suck as how "cash [must changes] hands" at Foxborough in order for a reporter to get any useful or pertinent information.

Dan also avails himself to info from the Boston Herald to augment his backhanded comments.

Might it be that Danny's a bit jealous that other sports reporters are given the opportunity to speak with Boston sports professionals because they are trusted ... and that he's universally distrusted?

Hmmmmm... Lemme see....

I also find it hilarious that Jason Varitek hit TWO more homeruns today. According to our resident baseball savant, he's all washed up...

Shank can't write about the Patriots without making a few smart ass remarks....Hell, I've seen him throw in a couple of wise ass remarks about the Pats when the main subject of his column was the RED SOX....maybe Bob Kraft pissed on his shoes or something

I would just like to thank everyone who has made my victory possible, from the Chief, to Jenny, to Dave M and Mike_B1.

Clearly, this blog jumped the shark when the Larry Bird reference list project was abandoned, even though some may claim that it lasted until it was turned into a vehicle for the shameless self-promotion of a book. Still, I must give due credit to those who soldiered on, even after it became clear that the site was little more than a self-parody.

To the vanquished, my best wishes.

OB,

Maybe the writer's major health problems are preventing him from updating the blog. Y'ever think of that? You know...considering that's what he said was the reason for the lack of updates.

The Larry Bird project was started by the blog's original writer. This blog has changed writers twice since then.

Shank and the rest of the Boston Globe crew are going down in flames now that they've rejected pay cuts to keep the paper in business.

*Very* disappointed you didn't spell the headline as "Shaughanigans."

OB, did you happen to notice that after I started listing the random Larry Bird references, The CHB stopped doing it?

Victory is mine.

I have a question for the 'Lollipop Guild' over on Bowtie Boulevard: "What would you do with a brain if you had one?" They alienate everyone not in their Giuld, then (for good measure) alienate roughly 49.9% of their own. What a bunch of wee-todds.

Paul said...

So...does anyone know if the dude who runs this blog is okay? I mean...it's been a while and Shank interviewed Nancy Kerrigan in a piece that deserves to be covered by this blog.

I don't know.... but I assume he must be hurtin'.....he's never gone this long without an update...last time he updated was May 28th...almost a month ago......jeeze, that's to bad

I'm going to make a daily comment on this blog until I find out what happened to the blogger.

Dude, just a one sentence blog telling your audience your alright would suffice.

Either that or hand the reins over to someone else...
